Student project

Made from recycled food products, I think. The brown is banana peel. It resembles the earth as our theme is sustainability. Always interesting to see how they interpret the brief. I was very proud of one student in particular as she strives to be more fluent - she’s working very hard. Proud of them all, to be honest, as they are out of their comfort zone. Essay marking has started - they may only be 1200 words long but can take anywhere between 30-60 minutes to read, annotate and complete the feedback form. Writing an essay in another language is no mean feat! Especially as while they generally communicate well, they’re still developing their language level, critical thinking skills and understanding of academic essay requirements.
Went to the gym - cycling for my knee and some strength training of arms, shoulders etc. Then dinner and more marking.
