Queueing
There were lots of little birds at the feeders this morning I couldn’t help noticing the activity. There were lots of Goldfinches, Siskins and Blue Tits all queueing for the chance to get to the feeders. Some were youngsters perching on the fence flapping their wings hoping their parents would feed them.
We have two more feeders in the tree at the back, at this time of year the queues are quite hidden by the foliage but I did see lots there too including Great Tits .
Non of the pictures are very close but I wanted to give the more of the idea of how busy it was, no wonder the cat sits under these bushes.
Cooler today but sunny on the walk up to church this morning. There were a couple of very heavy downpours during the service so it was a bit of a damp walk home. There is definitely a feel of the coming season now.
Happy birthday today to son Alex!
