Hitchin Lido & prep

Up promptly for a road trip with friends, to visit Hitchin Lido for the first time and then grab breakfast.

It’s a fantastic lido - really choppy though for some reason.

Breakfast in a local cafe was obviously so sought after that we had to queue for quite a while! Worth it though.

Back to endless jobs getting ready for our holiday tomorrow. We’re going to a very lovely place we’ve been to a couple of times before in Spain - the holiday home of some good friends. Another friend from church is house sitting and pet sitting so trying really hard to make it nice for him too.

I had so much washing to do with the boys spewing out the dirty contents of their cases from camp. Oh my word. Elbows was playing cricket so I just had to motor on.
