There are many apples !
The fruit trees are beautiful - our more mature trees died over the last few years and we planted a few replacements in different parts of the garden. Some have thrived and some have not.
Plum harvest is small and already shared with neighbours, but we do have very many red eating apples to share !
Today the main task achieved was the removal of a rotten panel of wood in the porch and sealing up the hole behind it. We have had silent and non problematic visits from a wee mouse who over the time we have been away has enjoyed the use of the porch! No evidence of mess or damage and enjoyed watching in the early morning with my coffee :) it's a field mouse I think - the barley field will be cut in the next week or so I expect.
Long walks with my friend Patty and another along Loch Lomond with J.
My state of mind fluctuates with the ongoing uncertainty of when family members can be in Rosebank with Sheila . But trying to make the most of the days.
