70th birthday lobster

it was a surf and turf kind of day - all day long !
we ended up eating inside due to a lively breeze rather than the forecast rain, which pretty much passed us by.

Coco was delightful and enjoyed all the food that we ate, including lobster roe, that i declined.

the extra pic, taken by Coco's mum, is very special. one, because i rarely allow anyone to take photos of me. two, because my lovely brothers are either side of me, and we had such happy day.  And we kept saying how mum & dad would have loved to see us here, in the home they made for us.

note bene:  whilst i may look & feel 70, it was my elder brother's birthday, not mine - i am 7 years younger than him!

i have added a pic of the cake, which i sourced online, and was so pleased with it - we ate it all up over the days.  his big present was Gleneagles related.  he got a lot of golf balls!
