Virgin Tiger Moth

This was on the outside of one of our doors this morning. It wasn't totally daylight - so I apologize for the noisy quality of the photo. It's a decent sized moth - but not huge.

Anyway - a fairly snazzy moth. If its underwings were visible it'd be even more snazzy. They are red/orange or sometimes yellow. No idea why "virgin."
