Kendal bus station is rather a grim, draughty place while this cafe is shut. When open, it is often frequented by our bus drivers, seen here with their high vis jackets on. It’s a good opportunity for them to relax with colleagues between shifts. They are especially busy this bank holiday weekend. The cars on the road are nose to tail and the buses, meanwhile, are full of tourists and a few locals. It’s good to see them using the buses and it only costs them £2 a trip.
