Sir Issac Newton
A rather long night and then into London on the Elizabeth Line which seems to be a hybrid of the tube and the overground, anyway it was running normally. I had managed to swap my Avanti rail ticket for a LNER one back up to Glasgow which also ran. I much prefer the east coast line with it’s wonderful views of York, Durham, Newcastle and Alnmouth even if it does require an extra leg between Edinburgh and Glasgow.
I just had time before I left to visit the British Library minutes from Kingscross and admire the Eduardo Poalozzi statue looking particularly fine the fresh morning sunshine.
Unusually for me I am pleased to be home, nature watching when done for any length of time is tiring. Looking forward to putting some of my newly acquired skills into practice.
And now it’s a very early night.
