It's That Time of Year ....

... and the Mountain Ash trees are laden with red Rowan berries.
There are many folklore myths surrounding these berries - from forecasting sub-zero conditions over the coming winter months, to protection against witchcraft and enchantment.
I can't wait to enjoy some rowan and apple jelly.
