Diddlydee!
Reliving our recent Dublin trip, K invited me to join her, E, Ronnie and Ivy for some Irish music at a pub on the high street this evening.
Prior to that...
K kindly picked up meds from the pharmacy for me this morning to save me the trip. Unfortunately I ended up having to head there later myself in person to sort a problem, but very annoyingly got there only to discover they were shut, despite saying they were open on the Internet. From there I trudged to the doc’s for blood tests, and from there to CQ to spend the afternoon with Dad. At 3pm today the wing’s Covid lockdown ended and residents were again free to come and go so decided to take Dad out for some fresh air. However his wheelchair had disappeared! Staff hunted high and low but failed to find it (and they’re still looking) so by the time they’d found one we could borrow we only managed 20mins outside, though probably long enough as a bit chilly for Dad. From there I headed to the high street for some diddlydee music. After a fraught day and three miles worth of errands, a relaxing evening was very much needed.
Thank you for your kind stars for yesterday’s lavender.
