An active weekend

Today we’ve ventured to the countryside for the weekend. It’s our church weekend away and the teenager really wanted to come. She’s already done archery and the zip line.

I am already peopled out. I want to go home. I love my church, I love the people who go but 5 hours of constant socialising has drained me.

My church kept me alive and sane at my lowest. They without question bought me food, took me to appointments, cleaned my house and sat with me as I cried and wanted. I owe them a lot and they really are family to me.

Only another 2 days to go, although we aren’t camping so I do get to go home at 10pm and return in the morning.
