Heart within a Heart

A lovely lady, who crochets marvellous things, is part of an online crochet group that I have joined. I admired the beautiful accessories that she always uses - and she made a surprise parcel up for me of a beautiful heart-shaped tray and a very incredible looking crochet hook with bobbles!  It's actually really lovely to use as the bobbles are soft and gentle to the fingers.

The heatwave has broken!!!
We finally had storms at the end of the morning with lashings of rain and the temperatures dropped from 35C to a delicious 20C/68F.
I feel reborn! I took out my crochet cottons (and new hook) to crochet in coolness and on my garden table away from 'Miss Claws'! 

I made a cup of green tea flavoured with rose petals and lavender flowers. Life is good!
