Blue Swimmer Crab

A little montage of two views of this lovely little crustacean.

I was after some interesting seafood to feature on my next plate. I couldn't believe my luck when I came across this beauty.

As he'd already been dispatched by the fishmonger I knew I had to photograph him really quickly and get him in the pot.

Not much meat yield to be fair but what there was tasted sweet.

Like a lot of shellfish the crab turned bright orange when cooked.
