Criterium

Just got back from watching the Leazes Criterium, a pro cycle race in Newcastle and part of the Northern Cyclone. In fact, my main reason for attending was to register for tomorrow's Cyclone Challenge... Wish me luck, 101 miles seems an awful long way! :-S

Photo tips?
Not the best shot, but I only had my fixed lens to play with. The bright colours of the lycra strips did some wierd and wonderful things with the auto-focus. I'd hoped to pick on chap on sharp in a group, the others indicating the considerable speed they were travelling at. Any tips from more pro blippers? I've got another chance to take pics on Sunday if I go watch the last event in the weekend, the Beaumont Trophy.
