Valerian memories

When I see this pink flowering wild flower on hedgerows I always recollect being in Perranporth Primary School, age about 10, and being asked to bring in some flowers. I picked a selection of different flowers from our garden, and was surprised that most of the other pupils in the class only brought in pink flowering valerian picked from just outside the school gate!
