Daughter and Dad time....

My wonderful daughter and I had some serious catch up today over a latte and some tasty treats..


She has been busy over her summer holidays. She is a primary school teacher and getting ready to go back to work at the beginning of the month. She is a wonderful teacher for young children..they adore her.


Marc and his family left late yesterday to go and house sit for a friend for a week. His elderly neighbour got picked up at our place by her daughter who couldn't fly back home until yesterday. 


No word as yet as to when Marc can see his house as there is no power or water.  We could hear the chainsaws from our place today as they clear out the burned out trees in his subdivision making it safe for them to return when all this work is completed...
