We were awakened by a thunderstorm, a rare thing here in northwestern Oregon. We had not seen the likes of this for a while. One hit so close to us , it was just a flash, and a BAM!

Fortunately, we had some rain, but south of here, 1600+ lightning strikes without rain, meant more fires across the west. Sorry day for western Oregon.
