Breakfast on a bench

I knew it was their breakfast because they ordered some breakfast items from the deli and I was behind them in the checkout line. I like bench shots, and I liked the combination of dangling feet and feet on the ground in this one. A funny day with some sun, cloud and haze from smoke that got worse as the day went on. 
Got great news today. Bill was down for a visit and to pick up some veggies, and the phone rang while we were talking. I wasn't going to answer it but saw that it was the health authority. G's appointment for the CAT scan has been scheduled for Aug. 31, and we can't believe that it's happening so quickly after it was requested by the ophthalmologist. So lucky! We look forward to knowing what the results are. Fingers crossed that there's no cause of his double vision other than the sixth nerve palsy.
