Stitches

My new shirt is coming along apace. It’s looking really good and a trial fit of the bits that have been stitched together has revealed that we have got the size bang on. In fact we’re at the stage where I need to choose what buttons I want - that’s going to be a different sort of shopping trip to what I’m used to! Don’t need to rush into a decision though - Mrs C is wanting to get a good few practice buttonholes done on some scrap material before committing to the actual shirt.
Not done a lot else today due to a niggling headache for most of the morning. Felt better this afternoon so did a bit of practice for tomorrow night’s gig. No phone call from R&T, so I guess I’ll be using just the combo, without the extension cab, and won’t be able to shatter eardrums!
Exciting voicemail message from the travel agent this morning - the tickets and boarding passes for our upcoming holiday are now ready for collection. Four weeks from now and we should be sitting by the pool at the hotel, looking out over the Bay of Naples rather than contemplating a wet Bank Holiday weekend in the Lake District!
