A garden blip today. This plant was about to flower when the decorator came in June to paint the outside of the house. I knew it was going to get trampled on so cut it back so the painter could see where he was putting his feet and ladder. It has now recovered, regrown and there are a few late flowers.

I was at the recycling site this morning with yesterday’s hedge trimmings. Later the plumber phoned. He’d be up in 5 minutes. The shower has a new (expensive) part and is no longer leaking. The job wasn’t as straightforward as it should have been. He’s also fixed a drip from a pipe under the washbasin.

In the afternoon I cut the rest of the beech hedge then went hunting for something to blip.
