Epic canoe trip from Hay back to the campsite. All downstream but some really slow sections. Did 18 miles in total which in hindsight was about 8 miles too far when you're not used to paddling!! Me and Tobes had some steering issues going through the more rapid sections and got tangled up in the willow on the river bank a couple of times. We can laugh about it now but definitely erring on the side of type 2 fun!! 

The river was very beautiful and peaceful and we had about 7 separate kingfisher sightings and lots of herons, fish and other birds we don't know the names of!
