View from our bedsit

The "one bedroom flat" we rented is in fact a bedsit, or a studio apartment as Americans would say. The description had a living room with seating area, a kitchen with table, and a bedroom. None of this is true: we have a bed/sitting room with bed, table, and two upholstered chairs (not armchairs). The kitchen area isn't big enough for a table. The ensuite is a reasonable size though.

The one tiny wardrobe has a knob that falls off so we aren't using it. The smoke alarm battery went and it took several days to fix it (and we had to take it down and put it up again!)

But it's cheap, and in walking distance from the town and the wonderful outdoor heated swimming pool complex, and five minutes from our son's place by car.
