Buttons and bows

Off to Edinburgh in the afternoon to have a look at our friend Robert's paintings on display at the Birch Tree Gallery in Dundas Street before it finishes on Saturday. A wee chat with the owner too, Jurgita Galbraith, on her being Lithuanian, the paintings, the festival and the effect of the pandemic on the gallery business. I managed to confuse her by asking for a photograph and then left before she had the opportunity to sell me a painting. I felt guilty about that all the way home...
