Bee in Thistle

While walking Zoe this evening, my husband spotted this bee foraging in a thistle flower. When we got home from our walk,  I grabbed my camera, tripod, and strobe and drove back up the road. 
My husband is such a super blip-spotter!
Today was the girl's last day here for the summer. They brought their "stuffies" and asked for a last-day photo. I was asked to put them in a castle. This is as close to a castle as I could manage. (extra.)
