Trophy collection

This afternoon we had an unannounced but delightful visit from the 2 boys who live across the lane from us - as usual they tiptoed across the gravel just in their socks. 

The purpose was to show us their collection of medals and trophies- big brother had his medals round  his neck , all 24 of them which were then lined up and counted. N was quick to point out that he had won many more but some had been handed back - most appeared to be for swimming but football featured too . He was very proud of one cup awarded for scoring a goal from the half way line although he did admit it was a lucky volley ! 

Little brother is a real charmer and he had 2 medals won at judo but he headed straight for the toy cupboard.

Parents were out celebrating daddy’s birthday and papa was looking after them - I think they had got bored with him !
