Dartmouth Regatta

At the Dartmouth Regatta. The blue boats are the Dartmouth Castle ferry boats. Kingswear is in the background, as is the nose of the Kingswear Castle, a restored paddle steamer built in 1924.
We had a great day out to one of our favourite places, which during regatta week has a very unique atmosphere. Probably much better if you know one end of a boat from another, but to be honest we didn’t have much to do with the water, apart from the ferry over(extra). We had fish and chips, a chat with the town cryer, and three hours at the play area.
