Boat

Mouse trap didn’t work last night as J heard it again, had a bit of a lie in and then headed out to explore a bit of the north of the island. Got to the beach and Darwin was already hyper so stopped as we had it all to ourselves. Discovered I’d forgotten to pack the camera when we got there but the dogs had a great 30 minutes running around and in the sea. Went up to Lussa gin to see if they had any of the bramble liquor in stock and had a nice chat to one of the owners. There is a nice little bay a bit further along the track so went there for lunch. J took the dogs in for a swim as well. Went to another bay on the way back where they put an honesty tea and cake selection in a horse box on the grass by the sea. Arrive and saw a nice stag come out of the woods and onto the field there. Headed home with 2 tired dogs and popped into the craft shop in the village then bought a bottle of rum from the distillery next door. The tasting we were looking at at the distillery was booked for Thursday afternoon so dropped the car back and went to the local pub for a drink. Dinner was at the other house again, stayed for a bit of a chat and came home for a nightcap.
