Climbing to the top of Bald Mountain

Today we took a morning hike up to 13,690 feet to look for Alpine forget me nots. It seems we were too late in the season to see any. But it was a beautiful hike, with lots of other alpine wild flowers and butterflies.
We might try Independent Pass tomorrow.
