Out with old and in with new

Strathbungo Footbridge. 
Top shows the new one which opened last week replacing the old 1877 bridge. Nothing wrong with the old one just that as the line was being electrified, the sides were open and it needed to be raised higher. The new one keeps the lattice theme and brings the bridge into the 21 century. The old one is now at a heritage site in Brechin.
