Dandelions

Stressful day today. Sister phoned to say she could not get hold of mum. We both panicked a bit. Helen then said mum had fallen over te day before. After some frantic texting and phoning we eventually had a reply from mum - in A and E !
Thankfully it appears only to be a very severe sprain in her neck but she is pretty immobile. So I brought my trip to Essex forward by a day and took our new ( to us) Polo for a spin down the motorway. The 70 mpg claim is probably close. I was going at 60-70mph for most of the way and did 240 miles on 1/4 tank of fuel. Pretty impressed.
Before I left for the long journey I planted the rest of the plants from my garden centre spree earlier in the week and finished some weeding. Weeding these devils before they seed is good use of time!!
