Road race

We cycled into the city centre in time to see the peloton of the UCI men's road race arrive.

Amazing atmosphere, with the route going round and through the city centre, tonnes of places to watch. We saw them tackle Montrose Street, which was the last punishing climb, as well as banging the boards as they came down the home stretch on one of the ten loops.
