14 weeks old

... and fully grown! This was one of three feathery tummies we stroked this morning when we attended a Baby Owls presentation by endangered owl species conservationists. Her name is Åsa (pronounced Orsa). She is a tawny owĺ and her best friend is thirteen week old Echo, a chaco owl from Paraguay - my Extra. It was such an interesting talk, and all the owls were beautiful.

Packed so much into the day. Because of overlapping dates, Mr PP headed home today and will return to pick me up on Friday. A shame, but with his painful hip I think he'll enjoy sleeping in his own bed again tonight.
