Au Revoir Mum & Dad

I made an early morning trip to Waitrose to stock up mum’s freezer with choc ices, and then left for Gatwick. I returned the hire car, and  had a wander around, bought some gin and moisturiser, and had a coffee while I waited for my flight.
I met a woman who was flying to Boston who hadn’t seemed to grasp the fact that she wasn’t at the gate, but had a ten minute walk to get there. On the board it said that her gate closed in 3 minutes though! I wonder what happened to her!
Mr F was at La Rochelle to meet me, it was 42 degrees, and when we got home we opened the gin (Ophir). Roll on Friday when the temperatures will be dropping hopefully!
