Pond life

Walked at Rouken Glen this afternoon before going to visit Pat who has moved into a care home near. 

 It is always a difficult visit as she has no power in her voice and can't be heard, but we do the best we can.  The care home is nice, but she doesn't like that the lounge is a bit noisy.  When we arrived her eldest son Scott was there and we had a good conversation with him.  

One of Pat's granddaughters is being married on Saturday at Comrie Croft, and Pat is being taken to the event.  They have organised it very well, she is being taken with Ron by taxi to Comrie Croft, and there is a carer reserved who will take over her care until after the wedding, when Fiona, her daughter will take over.  She is very excited about it and I am so pleased that her family have managed to make it possible for her to go, even with all her health issues.
