Extraordinary cloud formation....

...over Lake Geneva.
This blip was taken from the top of the Jura mountains which fringe Lake Geneva on its northern side.
Looking south towards the Alps you can just make out Lake Geneva in the haze, where it appears as a light coloured band.
In September the visibility is normally crystal cleasr and you can get superb views from 'The balcony of the Jura'.
