Brutal

Maybe it was the heat (104 F).

Maybe it was all those damn rocks.

Maybe it was the elevation - over 2,111 feet.

Maybe it was the tiny wheels - 26"!

Maybe it was the platform pedals - haven't ridden off-road with those in 25 years.

Whatever the cause, it was a brutal ride. This, ironically, was the nice easy smooth part, of which there as far too little.
