Ethereal

Another day of resting - and I’m so grateful that this year’s garden renovations provide a comfortable and shaded corner. 

Photography is garden-bound, but there’s plenty of choice so really it’s no hardship.  Unusually, this summer’s garden has been Cosmos-free till now, but a mix-up in deliveries from Sarah Raven means they are only just coming into flower, and sadly, they’re a major disappointment. I’ve ordered a delightful apricot shaded mixture, but the late arrivals are - so far - almost all plain white. Of course they have a beauty of their own, but I really wanted something different. Still, there’s one pink-tinged interloper that stands out, and it’s my subject for today, a high-key treatment emphasising its ethereal  beauty.
