Of all the things we have grown into the garden in the last six years, for some reason pulling this whole, healthy cabbage from the plot seems to have been the thing that thrilled Karen most.

I think there's something about it looking just like the ones you might buy in the shops.

Which is just as well, because all the other cabbages are beginning to look like swiss cheese as they make a meal for the caterpillars!
