Liquid lunch

Today brought to you by a red weather warning. Hot. And hotter to come. The puny fan under my desk was not quite doing it today, but my opposite-of-clear-desk policy doesn’t align with more fans. Lots of water and herb teas helped. The excessively long Government Framework contract did not.

Only a couple more days, then it will rain and the temperatures will plunge to 30 degrees. And that should be the proper heat done with for this year.

Can’t come too soon for the garden, and the birds, and the bats that live behind TallGirl’s shutter, and my mood.
