Audrey’s Art Work
I’m at the hairdresser’s again. Deb’s is doin’ me roots!
The paintings on the wall were done by her Mum, Audrey, who lives in our street and also runs the village art group. The paintings are mostly of the interior of the salon, one of the outside and one of a narrowboat.
I actually came by bus into Skipton and managed OK with my bad knee. I just felt I needed to get out and walk a bit. It’s only painful if I bend my knee.
I was awake at 4am and couldn’t get back to sleep so I got up at 4.30, made myself a cuppa and checked the Blips. When Bella heard me upstairs she came running up to see Frank who was still asleep. She got halfway along the landing and I whispered ‘Ssh, Dad’s still asleep’ so she turned and went quietly into the spare room. She understands so much.
Anyway, Deb’s is about to wash my hair.
More tomorrow.
