Bun at the beach

Started with BP and OH visiting MIL in hospital.  Arrangements in place for some of the furniture to go on Wednesday and hopefully hospital bed delivered later this week.  Very sad, I think it will be a revolving door.

I got home and the weather was improving so we decided on a beach afternoon.  We had a quick sandwich before leaving to save taking a picnic but just packed a flask and a few (homemade) fruit buns.  I feel I am getting old now!!  However we spend a lovely few hours listening to the waves and enjoying the rays.  I had finished my book so started re-reading one I had already read but really enjoyed the first time around.  John Boyne - The Absolutist in case anyone has not read it.  Great author and I have gradually worked my way through most of his books.  

Home by 7.00 and OH fed the cat while I prepped dinner - chilli and rice made last week so on the table pdq.  We did the crossword while having dinner and I think we are getting a bit better, either that or today's was particularly easy?

Penultimate episode of Lincoln Lawyer but I fell asleep so will need to re-watch.
