The Tree Wins

Never have I walked the same trail twice in the space of a week, but I was so taken with this tree and what it represents that I did this week.

Check out the tree roots and how over time they have managed to penetrate the rock. Talk about the will to live and persevere! Even after the tree fell over, it's natural life concluded, it broke the rocks exposing them to the elements that will one day turn them into dirt.

Go tree!

The next time I hit a few snags, I'm going to call up this picture of determination.
