as the free-fall advances i'm the moron who dances

A funny ol day. We had free hearing tests in school today and it turns out my right ear is doing a lot worse (like a LOT worse) than my left ear. I hadn't really noticed anything so the guy said it's probably been going on for years and years. However, since he said it, I keep noticing that I do hear more stuff through my left ear. I can hear through my right ear but oh I dunno. I've got a doctor's appointment next week so we'll see what happens. Maybe I'm fine and I've just been a bit of a malco and pressed the button on the test screen thing at the wrong time? Who knows?

The one thing I do know, however, is that listening to really loud music every single day for the past 20+ years has probably been terrible for my ears. Also going to really loud gigs and standing really close to the speakers without earplugs. The music felt so good though!!

I am loving this song at the moment - this is the best video I could find on YouTube. I really, really, really want to see the National live again.
