Poppies

Today has been what I think of as a non-day. It's not that I haven't done anything, but more that I have let the day pass without feeling I have used the time in a beneficial and constructive way. Perhaps we all need days like this from time-to-time. 
Today's blip shows some poppies that have just flowered. They were part of a wild flower mix that was sown at the bottom of the garden 2 or 3 years ago. I think poppies can invoke  a number of emotions. They are also often seen as symbols of gratitude and hope.
