Old Penicuik railway

Mr PHL was due to attend the Sheriff court today for jury duty but the system has changed since I was last called up. He phoned yesterday evening and was told to be on standby during the day for a phone call and if none occurs to call again this evening after 5. No calls and phoning at 5 gave him the sane instruction for tomorrow.

I took Phin to the old railway path whilst Mr PHL turned chicken and potatoes into a rather tasty dinner. It’s a very steady downward slope all the way to the tunnel just outside Auchendinny which is 3.5 Km from the car park so a 7km round trip. I thought the view into the tunnel fit todays theme of looking through nicely for Mono Monday. Thanks to loulou164 for hosting.
