Pretty Poppy...

A cloudy cool start to the week here this morning which was actually quite nice! as soon as the sun came through it felt very humid and close!

Bit of food shopping on the agenda this morning and then a quick wander round the Canvey nature reserve which was very quiet and still.  Lots more blackberries about to scoff though!

And back in the garden this lovely poppy has appeared! We normally just get the californian orange poppies everywhere, so where this lovely lilac one has come from I don't know! But I hope it spreads around!
