Late bird

The early bird usually gets the worm, but this evening it was the female blackbird hanging around later than the sparrows and her partner (with the missing tail feathers) that got the last remaining mealworms. Another gorgeous day, mostly spent inside but with a few outings to the playground for good behaviour. I did put in a request for lessons to be held outside, but neither teacher took me up on my brilliant suggestion. Pah!
