Sunflower

I my half barrel planters this year, I decided to grow some flowers rather than veg, for a change.

I planted miniature sunflower and narsturtium seeds in both barrels. Strangely, one barrel contains sunflowers and a few very poor narsturtiums and the second barrels has no sunflowers, but a really strong crop of narsturtiums. This is the first actual sunflower to bloom.
