DAY TWENTY THREE: Country and connection

This is one moment from a huge immersive exhibition of first Nations artwork at the LUME gallery next to the river. The projections change fluidly between work from different artists to a soundscape of original music and occasional voiceover. The art is full of natural landscapes and accompanied by arial photography of the regions it was made in. A really absorbing exhibition which demands you to think about the idea of 'country' and ecological stewardship.

Otherwise today was filled with screening abstracts, another thought provoking meeting to hear about ambitious hopes of systems reform and an evening stroll down the river.

I had cause to think about learning to get better at getting things wrong today. Lots of people have alluded to how important this is for collaborative work in the time I've been here and how it's part of the inevitable messiness of these process. Something to keep reflecting on and learning from.
