Leading the way

This lovely gentleman and friend led us up to the highest point on his farm. It was such a clear day that we could see clearly across to Ireland ( behind his shoulder), and turning 360 degrees we could see the ferry heading off from Loch Ryan, and the Galloway hills, and a smudge in the distance where the Isle of Mann lay cloaked in cloud.

A year ago, he took me up the same hill to wonder at the majesty of their wind farm. I love begin up close to them. 

My friend swung his arm around the view and said- this is your parish! What a responsibility, what an honour.
